Basic Bond Strength Grades
C1 – Standard Cementitious Adhesive
Meets standard bond strength requirements. Suitable for laying small to medium-sized tiles up to 30 cm × 30 cm on walls and floors.
C2 – Enhanced Cementitious Adhesive
Offers higher bond strength than C1. Suitable for larger tiles up to approximately 60 cm × 60 cm and above, and capable of withstanding more demanding conditions such as moisture and temperature variations.
Additional Performance Characteristics (Can be combined with C1 or C2)
F – Fast-Setting
Achieves a pull-off strength of ≥ 0.5 MPa within 6 hours. Designed for rapid installation and tight construction schedules.
T – Anti-Slip
Slip < 0.5 mm under a 5 kg load. Effectively prevents tile slippage, especially for large-format tiles or wall applications.
E – Extended Open Time
Maintains a pull-off strength of ≥ 0.5 MPa after 30 minutes of open time. Suitable for high-temperature, dry environments, or slower work pacing.
S1 – Flexible (Moderate Deformation)
Lateral deformation capacity between 2.5 mm and 5 mm. Ideal for substrates with slight movement, such as underfloor heating systems or wooden subfloors.
S2 – Highly Flexible (High Deformation)
Lateral deformation capacity ≥ 5 mm. Suitable for substrates with greater movement, such as lightweight partition walls or renovation projects over existing structures.
